Recently, Ms. Brown held a Birthday Party/Fundraising Gala at the Columbus Hall in Hamilton, New Jersey where many local politicians, local supports and political candidates for various offices attended the event.
Unfortunately, while local officials were able to administer a safe and secure vote in November 2024, new data confirms that these individuals carried out their duties in the spite of intense hostility. Incidents of threats and harassment against local officials increased by 30% in November 2024. This wave of election-related targeting comes amid a broader climate of hostility towards public officials that is poised to continue through the post-election period.
