The Armed Uniformed Division of Blackstone Security Group was hired and tasked with providing 24-hour, armed security at the Ferguson Associates distribution center in order to protect the building and its valuable contents while providing a sense of security to the employees and the FedEx delivery drivers. This was in response to major security incident in September of 2024.
A FedEx driver in Edison, New Jersey was robbed at gunpoint on 9/5/24
Three masked suspects forced the driver into his truck and drove to another location. The suspects tied up the driver, stole two pallets of packages, and fled the scene. The driver was able to free himself and call police. FedEx is cooperating with law enforcement as they investigate the incident.
